Your tasks:

  • Analysis of the Propulsion System of High-Performance Battery Electric Vehicles
  • Definition of Requirements of the Propulsion System
  • Concept development, trade of studies and verification through simulation
  • Support and use Benchmarking in the domains of Drive Units, Batteries and Thermal System
  • Implement and adhere to the System Engineering approach and methodology
  • Effective Integration into the global Lotus Tech development organization

Your profile:

  • 3 years of experience in global automotive companies in the domain of electric propulsion
  • University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with Masters
  • Deep knowledge of the relevant subsystems within the electric propulsion system: High Voltage Li-Ion Batteries, Electric Drive Units, Thermal System
  • Experience in System Engineering methodologies and tools like Requirements Flow, V-Process, FMEA,…
  • Experience working in cross-functional and globally distributed teams
  • Experience in managing technology projects in concept development
  • Skills required: MS Office, DOORS or System Weaver for Requirements Management, Simcenter AMESIM or GT Suite for 1-D Simulation, Matlab/SIMULINK
  • Fluent English language skills
