Your tasks:

  • Any future enhancements to the current FOC approach should be driven from this position
  • Literature research of algorithms for the given problem (e.g. Synchronous Motor, Sensorless, SVM, Field-Weakening, etc.)
  • Derivation of control loops based on literature / previous knowledge (know-how)
  • Support Application of the method on the HiL (with the embedded testing eningeer)
  • Support Analysis of the method on the target hardware (with the embedded software engineer)
  • Optimization of the method taking into account the findings from the SOC investigation (with the embedded team)

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, applied computer science or a comparable field of studies
  • Analytical consideration / evaluation of the control loops in continuous and discrete (stability, settling time, step response behavior)
  • Mapping / Improving of the method within Matlab Simulink
  • Creation of a complete controlled system (here in coupling with AMESIM)
  • Application of the method using SiL
  • Fluent English, German is a plus
