Senior Specialist Financial Accounting (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• You support the Accounting Manager to manage and complete accounting and reporting activities to ensure accurate financial statements as part of month-end and year-end reporting
• You support the Accounting Team in preparing and submitting required financial reporting pack to parent company and external auditors
• You assist in standardizing and streamlining the AP and AR process based on your experience
• You manage balance sheet reconciliations of allocated accounts, explain variations, and ensure timely resolution of overdue items
• You support in preparing and updating internal accounting guidelines / policies
• You ensure internal controls and regulatory requirements are adhered to regarding record keeping

Your profile:

• You have a university degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or comparable Finance related degree
• You have 3 years or above operative experience in finance area; experience in the automotive industry advantageous
• You have experience in a joint venture context is beneficial
• You are proficient in legal knowledge about finance processes in sales and distribution
• You have working knowledge of SAP (user and configuration)
• You have strong communication skill
• You are analytical and organized (ability to manage multiple tasks)
• You work effectively in teams
• You are fluent in English; any other European language is a plus
