Senior Software Development Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Design and implement software for automotive systems and applications, including vehicle control systems, powertrain systems, and driver assistance systems
• Write and maintain code in C/C++ and other programming languages as needed
• Perform unit and integration testing on software components
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and system engineers, to ensure successful integration of software into automotive systems
• Contribute to the development of software development processes and best practices
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in automotive software technology

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in the automotive industry
• Proficiency in C/C++ and other programming languages
• Good knowledge of automotive development processes according ASPICE and ISO 26262
• Experience with real-time operating systems and microcontrollers
• Experience with AUTOSAR (AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture); automotive protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet; software development tools such as version control systems (e.g. Git), bug tracking systems, and IDEs (e.g. Eclipse)
• English fluent, German is a plus
