Senior Expert (m/f/d) Function Requirements Engineering

Your tasks:

• Management of Component (HW/SW) development and Function requirement including compliance certification / homologation process for some Body Electronics related area: Lighting system; Gear Box shifter, Parking Loc, TPMS, etc.; Locking system & Key fob (Security related, e.g. finger print-, NFC-access etc.)
• NPDS process conform milestone planning and execution
• Review and approval of systems- & component-compliance, compliance supplier change management and compliance review of systems- & component-specification
• Collect and maintain update applicable vehicle systems & components legal & law requirements for EU & US sales market
• Provide EE function interpretation, inform acc. priorities design compliance
• Project-state, Performance-target & -deviation reports to ED & BE -leadership
• Prepare and execute development work independent in acc. to development plan

Your profile:

• 5+ year experience in automotive EE component development (HW/SW)
• Experience in Light ECU (HW/SW), Front and Rear Lamp Control will be considered a plus
• Experience on regulatory for BEV vehicle will be point of preference
• Knowledge in vehicle EE-Architecture design & layout
• Experience in vehicle development standards & processing
• Experience in regulatory, liability for EE-Systems / Components, with specific competence in US, EU market
• English fluent
