Senior Engineer – VMC Validation & Development (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Define, implement, and drive the validation and release strategy for a vehicle motion control (VMC)
• Ensure proper execution of all required validation and release activities
• Monitor and control validation and release activities
• Coordinate reviews and updates of test cases
• Drive the procurement of benches, vehicles, equipment and components required for validation and development
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to optimize, align and fulfil the validation and release strategy
• Strongly support the change and issue management
• Ensure that launch quality is robust over lifetime and fulfill customer expectations

Your profile:

• At least 4 years of working experience in systems engineering, software engineering or validation in the area of automotive (preferred work at least in one domain: Chassis, Electric Drive, ADAS)
• Very good project management skills
• Experiences in tools related to validation such as for requirements management, test planning, test completion, data logging, data analysis and issue management
• ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level preferred
• Good knowledge of Automotive Spice, Functional Safety (ISO26262) and Safety of the intended functionality
• Experience working in global teams
• High level of engagement to solve issues and drive resolution even outside of own working field
• Fluent in English, Driver License (Class B), Solution driven & Highly motivated
