Your tasks:
- Ensure the company’s OTA architecture readiness for the global markets including the functions and systems inside the vehicle (onboard) as well as outside (offboard) and Ensure all targeted ECUs are ready for OTA updates
- Collaborate with the UX/UI teams to deliver a consistent and premium user and customer experience and Drive issue resolution internally and with suppliers/partners
- Act as the interface to the EE architecture, IT as well as the Cyber Security teams and Provide regular status reports about the OTA readiness to the leadership and program teams
- Support the definition of test & validation activities, ensure the execution of test plans and review results; Manage and steer suppliers and sub-suppliers
- Work with different stakeholders such as engineering teams, marketing, sales & aftersales to improve and evolve the OTA feature set; Review, create and maintain product, system and design requirements
- Challenge the technical content and product definition under the aspects of performance and competitiveness. Identify gaps, propose improvement opportunities and drive their implementation
- Ensure compliance with market specific requirements and regulations (e.g. Europe, North America); Perform benchmark activities, analyse market and technology trends and present conclusions to the leadership
Your profile:
- Degree in telecommunications, computer science, electrical engineering or a related course of studies
- Min. 5 years of working experience in connectivity, telematics, SW architecture or E/E system engineering, preferably at an automotive OEM or Tier 1
- Experience in firmware/software Over-The-Air (OTA) update technologies and solutions; Good understanding of software and vehicle E/E architectures
- Knowledge of diagnostic standards and SW update/flash mechanisms and technologies; Familiar with in-vehicle network technologies (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet) as well as E/E development tools (e.g. Vector CANoe, Diagnostic Tools, data loggers etc.)
- Knowledge in IT-security and security mechanisms for automotive, embedded or IoT is beneficial
- Driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally
- Fluent English
