Senior Engineer (m/f/d) – Product Owner Steer-by-Wire

Your tasks:

• Take the lead as the Product Owner for Steer by Wire & Rear Wheel Steering
• Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
• Responsible for HW & SW requirements of the product itself
• Define interfaces for HW & SW between smart Steer by Wire actuator and Chassis Motion Controller
• Package responsibility of HW components
• Release responsibility of HW and SW components
• Lead automotive risk assessment with ISO 26262
• Lead product architecture integration for future platforms
• Providing vision and direction to the development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
• Define product vision, roadmap

Your profile:

• Completed technical studies in the field of mechatronic engineering, electrical engineering or similar (experience > 5 years)
• Several years of professional experience in chassis mechatronic product development and automotive environment (development process according to ASPICE, analyses and creation of concepts according to ISO 26262)
• Big interest in automotive, passionate of vehicle dynamics technology, demanding of delivering excellent ride & handling attributes to customers
• Strong analytical, structural thinking skills
• Independent and responsible action
• Goal-oriented communication skills and strong ability to work in a team
• Positive attitude, resolute and high drive for results
• Flexible regarding travels around the globe in order to participate in benchmark- and development rides i.e. at proving grounds during summer- and winter test, at suppliers, at different production sides and dealer shop when necessary
• Fluently speaking English and German for international communication and meeting
