Your tasks:
- Take the lead as the Product Owner for Steer by Wire & Rear Wheel Steering
- Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
- Responsible for HW & SW requirements of the product itself
- Define interfaces for HW & SW between smart Steer by Wire actuator and Chassis Motion Controller
- Package responsibility of HW components
- Release responsibility of HW and SW components
- Lead automotive risk assessment with ISO 26262
- Lead product architecture integration for future platforms
- Providing vision and direction to the development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
- Define product vision, roadmap
Your profile:
- Completed technical studies in the field of mechatronic engineering, electrical engineering or similar (experience > 5 years)
- Several years of professional experience in chassis mechatronic product development and automotive environment (development process according to ASPICE, analyses and creation of concepts according to ISO 26262)
- Big interest in automotive, passionate of vehicle dynamics technology, demanding of delivering excellent ride & handling attributes to customers
- Strong analytical, structural thinking skills
- Independent and responsible action
- Goal-oriented communication skills and strong ability to work in a team
- Positive attitude, resolute and high drive for results
- Flexible regarding travels around the globe in order to participate in benchmark- and development rides i.e. at proving grounds during summer- and winter test, at suppliers, at different production sides and dealer shop when necessary
- Fluently speaking English and German for international communication and meeting
