Senior Engineer Brakes (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Act as a Brake system product owner and manage delivery of timely releases, problem solving, validation deliverable
• Define design and validation procedures to ensure only optimized, integrated and robust designs are released
• Create and track DVP&R, DFMEA, GD&T, Engineering Statement of Work (ESOW) and component technical specifications (CTS) for Brake components
• Manage suppliers to deliver component designs on time and to specification
• Lead the design and development of the Brake system and components from concept to production for current and future programs

Your profile:

• Master´s in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• 8-10 years of experience at a major Tier 1 or at an OEM releasing and developing Brakes system Components
• Must be familiar with DFMEA/DVPR usage and review of these documents
• Catia (is a plus)
• Ability to understand Engineering direction and provide design concepts accordingly
• Collaborate with larger teams of peer designers, engineers, functional teams
• Strong communication skills, including written and verbal
• English is a must
• Intense technical curiosity, High energy and proactive attitude towards problems and challenges
