Resident Engineer – IPN (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Organizational deadline monitoring, support and monitoring of the specification of the system / system integration tests in coordination with the person responsible for the function
• Creation of test reports and statistics including notification of deviations and initial analysis with proposed solutions
• Ensuring the feasibility of system/system integration tests according to the project plan, analysis of system and system integration requirements
• Support in the creation of the test plan and reviews, system test execution on test bench and test vehicles
• Preparation of test artifacts – test protocols, test data, bug reports, etc., support with initial Analysis of test results to identify the probable root causes of issues
• Support flashing activities, run stability drives and tests, take care of logistics of faulty parts
• Resident activities in customer factory and the company’s factory and contact person for internal and external customers as well as function managers

Your profile:

• Successfully completed degree or doctorate in a technical field (electrical engineering, computer science) or comparable training
• System test experience in Automated driving, ADAS or Automated Parking systems on HIL test benches and test vehicles
• Know how of Automated driving, ADAS or Automated Parking systems and sensors (ultrasonics, cameras) used for ADAS system
• Experience with vehicle measurement techniques – VIGEM, CANOE, Carmen, Wireshark, etc., ECU flashing and troubleshooting and ECU Hardware troubleshooting
• Knowledge of JIRA and Python scripting and understanding of automotive standards – iso 26262, ASPICE
• German driving license (must) and BMW driving license (good to have)
• Fluent English
