R&D Engineer for PEM Fuel Cell Stack Design (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Develop Fuel Cell Stack Designs for aeronautic applications with focus on the mechanical system
• Coordinate stack related technical project tasks with the customer, the supplier and within the team (sub-project coordination)
• Responsible for the stack specification book in the project team
• Manage the manufacturing activities for prototype stack assemblies
• Control the development of the V&V Strategy/Plan for aeronautical stacks
• Coordinate and support preparation of drawings incl. bills of material
• Conduct/coordinate patent and literature research

Your profile:

• Master degree in mechanical engineering/aerospace engineering or similar
• Proven experience in product development/design combined with project management skills
• Experienced in developing complex mechanical and/or electrical systems (design & simulation in focus)
• Comprehensive know-how of standard manufacturing and quality control technologies
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and fluid dynamics is available
• Capability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
• Fluent in English and German is mandatory, French is a benefit
