Your tasks:
- Champion the product deployment and consequent market growth of AR HUD product technology from a technology perspective
- Support customer meetings and engineering workshops and prepare materials and documents for customer submission with support from the other technical teams
- Support system specification, simulation, implementation, and verification of products, ensuring the other engineering disciplines have a common understanding of the product requirements
- Support the Program Engineering Manager in handling numerous technical relationships and deliverables from the customer portfolio
- Support Demonstrations and Tech shows on site but also in the Demonstrator Planning phase
- Demonstrate Technology to OEM Customers and Tier 1’s
- Work closely with OEM and Tier1 customers to support cutting-edge augmented-reality head-up display (AR-HUD) business development and technology development
Your profile:
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Software discipline, with broad engineering skills and technical understanding
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in product development, ideally working with displays and display-related products within the automotive supply chain
- Highly customer focused with an ability to support the customer’s technical requirements, which can include complex optical, mechanical, electrical, and software issues
- Demonstrable business development success through product technical promotion and successful technical bids (RFI/RFQ)
- Proven project management skills related to automotive product development, with knowledge of the product design and development processes from project win through to product launch
- Hands-on product and application engineering skills across a broad spectrum: mechanical, optical, electrical, and software engineering. Ability to work effectively and safely in an R&D-type office and laboratory environment
- Automotive design (e.g. DFMEA) and part qualification and production quality processes
- Fluent English language skills
