Product designer for E-mobility (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Performs detailing and specification stages of an engineering project including CAD operations, layout work and calculations
• Liaises with engineers to understand functionalities, specifications and design requirements
• Produces comprehensive design solutions in 2D design/surface modelling or 3D design/solid modelling
• Produces working designs from engineering specifications of mechanical mechanisms, electrical systems, structures, etc.
• Calculates and defines key features to meet required functional specifications
• Produces tools or parts list, maintains work documentation and records as appropriate

Your profile:

• completed studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable fields
• very good knowledge of PTC Creo, Windchill PDMLink, SAP and MS Office; PTC Integrity (advantage)
• professional experience in plastic constructions of mechatronic assemblies in the automotive industry
• experience with plastic design and design of specific structures for injection molding is an advantage
• experience with automated and manual serial production and very good knowledge of design regulations, standards and directives in the Automotive sector
• good knowledge in the process of development of products (PEP) and management of requirements, configuration, changes and quality
• very good knowledge of written and spoken English
• willingness to travel abroad (several months of training in Germany)
