Lead Architect & IT Product Owner for Learning & Knowledge Management Systems (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• As Lead Architect, you take the lead of conception, design and implementation for a modern and sustainable holistic End2End IT architecture on all systems levels e.g. infrastructure, applications & data
• With your broad knowledge on IT architectures, you evaluate strategic requirements and their effects on the IT architecture and the data models in joint committees of the business unit and IT
• As product owner, you are passionate about identifying new customer-relevant and differentiating functionalities and use cases, and ensure market-driven implementation
• You design and manage the transformation into the future AWS cloud environment based on state-of-the-cloud technologies and methodologies, including DevOps, FOSS, API & micro services architecture, Postgres, Java, Tomcat and automation
• You guide and accompany our business unit Global Training competently and proactively in their projects with a clear focus on driving digitalization forward as an innovating driving force for new technologies.
• For new technologies, you take over the evaluation and pilot implementation with the goal to increase the learning experience for the learner and organize their transfer into line operation
• You coach and mentor internal as well as external teams and partners

Your profile:

• You hold a degree in an IT specialization, business informatics or related courses of study
• You have minimum 5 years’ experience with complex IT architectures, know different integration approaches and have a deep understanding of API design, micro services, Kubernetes as well as cloud architectures (AWS) and DevOps
• Ideally, you have knowledge in the development, integration and operation of cloud-based enterprise applications – experience in product management, agile methods as well as in the control of technical implementation.
• Business fluency in English, knowledge of German is an advantage
• Willingness to travel (1 week business trip 1 to 3 times a year)
