Kernel Software Entwickler (m/w/d)

Ihre Aufgaben:

• Working in an international development team, which focuses thematically on operating systems (Linux & QNX), drivers, and virtualization technologies for various products and projects
• Optimizing and configuring operating systems and drivers to meet the customer’s requirements and use cases
• Commissioning new customer boards and validating drivers (UART, I2C, SPI, etc.)
• Maintaining the kernel and drivers, reviewing code contributions
• Analyzing and resolving tickets

Ihr Profil:

• A good to very good degree in computer science, software engineering or a comparable field of study
• Several years of professional experience in the embedded systems field, preferably in the automotive industry
• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++ in the context of Linux, Android or QNX; You are accustomed to working in a Linux/Unix environment
• Experience with functional safety is advantageous
• Collaboration with developers and suppliers in an international environment (Japan, India and Vietnam)
• Independent, analytical and goal-oriented way of working
• Excellent communication skills in English
