IT Support Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Provide software support on PCs and laptops, such as troubleshooting, installing and removing a number of different software applications (Outlook, Windows programs, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, etc.)
• Maintaining and monitoring anti-virus and IDS protection
• Cloud PBX/Telecom – analog, cellular, digital and VoIP telephone configuration, support, troubleshooting and working with technical specialists to resolve issues
• Network switches and router troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair
• Provide hardware support of PCs and laptops, such as installing replacement hardware or upgrading hardware (RAM, HDD, motherboard, video cards, etc.)
• Perform PC swaps and various upgrades, moving user data, getting user replacement machine as quickly as possible, potential loaner machine, etc.
• Support software / hardware on equipment such as scanners, copiers, printers, monitors and other peripherals
• Relocating users upon request which could include PC, network and telecom changes
• WAN/LAN – troubleshooting network issues

Your profile:

• B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar, or several years equivalent work experience
• Ability to troubleshoot various Microsoft Office applications is required (software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, and Project)
• An advanced understanding of network topologies, WAN/LAN, VPN and wireless communication methods
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory required
• Windows server and telecom support skills
• Cloud network connectivity skills
• Apple Mac and iOS knowledge a plus
• RingCentral and Oracle Netsuite
• English and German mandatory
