Hardware Engineer, Analysis & Problem Solving (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Cross customer projects root cause analysis of field failures with emphasis on lower application stack e.g. operating system, driver etc. for our Infotainment system and amplifier
• Failure localization from customer view down to technical / component view
• Analysis of analog and digital functional blocks (e.g. power supplies, audio blocks, microcontroller / SoC units, etc.) within complex hardware architectures
• Responsibility for analysis tasks and coordination within HW and SW Engineering departments as required (e.g. NTF-Process)
• Reporting of failure description, root cause and remedial actions

Your profile:

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Infotainment analysis
• Knowledge in HW and SW architecture of Infotainment systems as well as high speed bus systems (PCIe, USB)
• Knowledge of automotive networking ( MOST, CAN, etc.), automotive diagnosis, BIOS control & flash tools
• Excellent Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP), preferably in the area of audio signal processing, including DSP programming (ADI, TI DSP)
• Knowledge of DC / DC converters and digital circuits as well as EMC-compliant circuit design
• Business fluent in German and English
