Functional Safety Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Perform safety management activities for the project according to relevant standards during all project phases (concept, product development, production) including DFMEA, qualitative and quantitative FMEDA and SW safety analyses
• Develop the safety architecture and safety plans to ensure compliance with ISO 26262
• Lead and coordinate creation of functional safety documentation according to ISO 26262
• Cascade safety requirements to the subsystems and component levels in product portfolio and specify detailed safety requirement
• Conduct reviews with the product teams to ensure the ISO 26262 functional safety standards
• Support the implementation of functional safety process at the organization (creation and or optimization of templates, guidelines, checklists)
• Analyse the impact of ISO 26262 on the product and define the product architecture and define the Technical Safety Concept

Your profile:

• Bachelor or above in Electronics, mechatronic or quality
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the role of ISO 26262 Safety Manager in the automotive domain. Detailed knowledge and experience with ISO 26262
• Knowledge of the Products Development Life Cycle with respect to Systems, Electrical or Software Development
• Awareness of the compliance models which are relevant to the electronics development (e. g. CMMI and Automotive SPICE)
• Good technical leadership, planning and organization / control skills
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
• The ability to communicate complex ideas persuasively to stakeholders and customers
• Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
