Engineer BEV* Thermal System Simulation and Definition (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Take ownership of developing and maintaining simulation 1D models regarding cooling and heating systems, including two-phase flow for battery electric vehicles
• Validation and calibration of models based on 3D simulation, measurement data or supplier data
• Take ownership of thermal system component sizing
• Developing and maintaining full vehicle simulation model
• Documentation of simulation model

Your profile:

• At least 5 years of experience with 1D simulation tools, preferably Simcenter Amesim
• Extensive knowledge in the field of thermal systems modelling and component definition, e.g. heat-exchangers, compressors, pumps
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and thermal hydraulic libraries
• Thermodynamic understanding especially with regards to heat transfer, two-phase flow systems
• System-level knowledge and working experience in BEV thermal systems at OEM or Tier 1 preferred
• Fluent in English
• High level of engagement to solve any issues, Positive attitude and drive for results
