Your tasks:
- Take ownership of developing and maintaining simulation 1D models regarding cooling and heating systems, including two-phase flow for battery electric vehicles
- Validation and calibration of models based on 3D simulation, measurement data or supplier data
- Take ownership of thermal system component sizing
- Developing and maintaining full vehicle simulation model
- Documentation of simulation model
Your profile:
- At least 5 years of experience with 1D simulation tools, preferably Simcenter Amesim
- Extensive knowledge in the field of thermal systems modelling and component definition, e.g. heat-exchangers, compressors, pumps
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and thermal hydraulic libraries
- Thermodynamic understanding especially with regards to heat transfer, two-phase flow systems
- System-level knowledge and working experience in BEV thermal systems at OEM or Tier 1 preferred
- Fluent in English
- High level of engagement to solve any issues, Positive attitude and drive for results
