Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d) SW-Integration & Toolchains

Your tasks:

• Development of new vehicle-internal software concepts, functions, and prototypes for open and managed software platforms as the basis for software-defined vehicles
• Development and establishment of toolchains for continuous integration and deployment for open and managed software platforms as the basis for software-defined vehicles
• Integration of vehicle-internal software components and frameworks from software development teams and OSS communities into software platforms for embedded devices (e.g. CCUs)
• Provision of software in OSS platforms and communities, including the establishment of an OSS deployment and release management process
• Working in an international development team using an agile development process together with other teams, system architects, product owners, and product managers

Your profile:

• 5 years of professional experience in automotive software development
• Proficiency in programming languages: C++ 11 or higher, as well as scripting languages (e.g. Ansible/Python/Bash/Shell)
• Experience with software platforms (OS): Linux and/or Android Automotive, as well as container technologies
• Knowledge of automated integration of software into embedded software platforms (Linux-based) and software release management
• Knowledge of setting up, using, and maintaining CI/CD toolchains (e.g. PTXdist, Yocto) including integration with OSS platforms such as GitHub
• Good English language skills in speaking and writing
