Your tasks:

  • As a Chassis Architect, you are responsible for the smooth development and integration of mechatronic chassis components (brake actuation, steering, damping, airspring…) for OEM platforms & top hats
  • Your focus is on the definition for the chassis requirements based on stakeholder documents and breaking down to system level
  • You support creating, updating and reviewing use cases (based on vehicle requirements)
  • You ensure that the appropriate tools and processes for compliant system development in the chassis area are defined and consistently applied
  • Within the scope of a Chassis Architect, you ensure that the interface definitions(eg.signal list, …) of the single systems are mature and complete
  • To do this, you coordinate with the neighbouring departments

Your profile:

  • Completed technical studies in the field of mechatronic engineering, electrical engineering or similar (experience > 3 years)
  • Experience in the field of chassis system development required
  • Experience regarding functional safety in E/E systems
  • Strong analytical, structural thinking skills
  • Goal-oriented communication skills and strong ability to work in a team
  • Positive attitude, resolute and high drive for results
  • Flexible regarding travels around the globe in order to participate in benchmark- and development rides i.e. at proving grounds during summer- and winter test, at suppliers, at different production sides and dealer shop when necessary
  • Fluently speaking English and German for international communication and meeting
