ADAS End User Function System Engineer and Function Owner (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Requirement Elicitation: Analysis, Clarification and Documentation of Functional Stakeholder Requirements and Interfaces at system boundaries (Vehicle, Communication Bus / Interface)
• Aligning feature decomposition and functional delivery schedule with Stakeholders; Writing System and System Element requirements specification in Req. Engineering Tool (e.g. DOORS) derived from stakeholder requirements according to process definition
• Responsible for a ADAS End customer system function and single point of contact to customer and Valeo internally for the related function; Refinement of requirements and functional decomposition to functional System Architecture
• Definition of the system behavior and performance in cooperation with the platform development and the customer; Analyze and define system behavior, data and control flow between platform elements and application software
• Analysis of the peripheral component properties (sensor, brakes, steering, HMI,…) on system performance; Trouble shooting of functional system behavior on all levels of function and integration chain in development vehicles and the series production
• Presentation and demonstration of system status, behavior and performance to customers and management
• Support of testing activities, review of Test specifications and results

Your profile:

• Experience in development Products in Automotive (SPICE, ISO26262)
• Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS an advantage)
• Experience with Vector CANoe and ADTF software and hardware
• Experience in Hi-Speed CAN, CAN FD, FlexRay, Ethernet and other communication networks
• Experience in model based development (MATlab, Simulink,..)
• Overall understanding of vehicle technology, architecture and functions
• Fluent English, German is an advantage
