Your tasks:
  • Be responsible for interfacing with System, Hardware, Software, Verification and Validation, and Industrialization teams and supporting the safety activities in those disciplines
  • Ensure project compliance to safety standards (e.g. ISO26262, ISO21448) and to company development process and methods
  • Report project status of safety (functional safety and SOTIF), including identified safety anomalies
  • Be the contact person towards customer regarding safety topics in the project
  • Analyze and understand external and internal stakeholder requirements
  • Define and monitor the project’s Development Interface Agreement (DIA), internal and external
  • Ensure relevant safety analyses are performed (e.g. FMEA, FTA, FMEDA) at different levels
Your profile:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science
  • Mechatronics or related technical field or appropriate experience in such a position
  • More than 10 years experience in Safety Engineering industry, Experience in Automotive SPICE
  • Experience (more than 5 years) of hands-on experience in development of safety concepts for highly complex systems including coordination of system level design
  • Good knowledge in Automotive industry preferably in Active Safety Systems or appropriate safety related industries, hands on experience in ISO26262 and ISO21448
  • Good knowledge in Systems Engineering, Embedded Systems and Electronics
  • Experience with performing safety analyses including FTA, DFA, DFMEA and FMEDA
  • Good skills in English and German, both spoken and written
