Functional Safety Expert (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Perform tasks required by ISO 26262 part 4,5,6
• Administrative tasks, for example Safety plan and Safety case
• Define technical safety concept, including all Safety mechanisms
• Derive from SGs the SSR, HSR and HSI and Consultation for internal staff from other departments
• Perform software and hardware safety analysis and component qualification
• Software tasks: freedom from interference analysis, data flow analysis, dependent or common cause error analysis, error impact analysis
• Hardware tasks: PMHF, FIT, SPFM, LFM and Align with Customer and give necessary explanations and justifications

Your profile:

• University degree, preferably computer science, natural sciences, or engineering
• At least 5 years’ experience and proven record in Functional Safety and related practical work
• Several years’ experience in automotive industry is a strong advantage
• Strong professional knowledge in ISO26262
• Background in embedded systems
• Experience in software and understanding of Autosar
• Knowledge of ASPICE
• Strong communication and decision making skills
• Your profile is completed by fluent communication skills in English, written and verbally – German is a plus
