Engineer (m/f/d) – Propulsion System Diagnostic

Your tasks:

• Continuously keep the prototype fleet’s software and calibration up-to-date
• Being first responder and support vehicle prototypes’ test and failure analysis and also trouble shoot vehicles
• Improve and develop diagnostic tools and equipment landscape
• Lead and manage the in-house test equipment and licenses
• Establish strong links into the other global Lotus Engineering Centers with regards to propulsion controller software and calibration
• Lessons learned documentation and measures for findings made
• Constantly and independently work on the development of subject-specific requirements

Your profile:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in electrical, mechanical engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education; At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in controller, software and calibration handling
• Test experience and familiar with tools like CANoe, CANape and INCA
• Good knowledge of controller data analysis (measurement or flight recorder data)
• Good technical understanding and overview of the powertrain/ e-powertrain unit development from early development phase to serial production and launch in global markets, especially for Chinese, European and North America markets
• Good understanding of OBD, calibration and software function development and calibration versioning
• Flexible regarding travels in Europe, China and other countries if needed
• Fluent in English, German and any additional language would be advantageous
