• Supporting the specialist departments and projects in the application of configuration management, Identifying, planning and defining the product structure for hardware and software, including assigning manufacturer part/material numbers for the in-house parts in the project
• Control of change management in projects, Definition of specifications for the implementation of changes
• Configuration bookkeeping/documentation and reporting (analyses, change overviews)
• Definition of so-called configuration statuses and their monitoring, Release of project documentation
• Determination of the construction status monitoring, Securing development results and archiving product-related documents
• Provision of information on the status of delivered products with regard to material numbers and their construction status, Improving and maintaining the configuration management system in SAP
• Planning and carrying out internal and external configuration audits in projects, planning and organising training courses in configuration management

• Completed technical bachelor's degree or state-certified technician
• Several years of experience in configuration management
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP in the area of materials management and configuration and change management
• Sound knowledge of configuration processes
• Very good communication skills in English and German (written and spoken)
