Massimiliano Cava comes from Sarno, in the province of Salerno. He studied Electrical Engineering in Neapel. Always looking for challenges, he was drawn to Braunschweig through the Erasmus Program while his studies without speaking a word of German. In Braunschweig he studied Electrical Engineering for two years and got his degree in Neapel 1998. His first job in Lippstadt did not last long. He resigned after a few months with the reasoning:”The passion at work was missing.” At a friends place in Vaihingen he shared a 13 m² small apartment. He worked at Magneti Marelli and later at Smart.
2005 he eventually founded DA VINCI ENGINEERING.
Da Vinci Engineering founded the first office in Stuttgart-Vaihingen at Magneti Marelli. More employees and test drivers were hired soon after.
It did not take long until an additional office was created at Magneti Marelli. Through the extension in 2007, Da Vinci could count on 40 employees, at the Headquarters in the fields of Recruitment, Sales and IT, who coordinated the daily business of the company.
Until today, the company keeps growing. At the moment we count around 300 employees from 50 different nations here at Da Vinci Engineering. This diversity allows us to link different sets of skills and to broaden our own horizon constantly.
We are proud to look back on an impressive development of our company over the last 12 years. We have grown from 3 to more than 320 employees in a short amount of time and have achieved great success in an industry that is changing rapidly and permanently.
