• Planning & follow-up of supplier development milestones/schedule per APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) procedure of complex mechanical components
• Participation in review of design and production process for timely identification of risks and countermeasures
• Collaboration with Engineering, Contract Purchasing, other related PDT (Product Development Team) members and Supplier for clean launch
• Planning and managing overall development activities for supplier quality assurance for complex mechanical parts (such as high precision plastic molding and diecast parts) per Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) procedure from advanced supplier development phase to end of component life to meet customer requirements
• Engaging in review and verification of parts design and production process to identify risks and countermeasures and reflect them in development milestones/schedule upfront in a reasonable manner

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design Engineering
• 10 years of Mechanical Design Engineering, Mechanical Parts Production Engineering, Quality Assurance and/or Purchasing experience in automotive industry
• Expertise and professional experience in processing technologies such as high precision plastic molding and diecast
• APQP knowledge
• Expertise and professional experience in DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) and PFMEA (Process FMEA) / Process Control Plan as well as actual problem solving of complex mechanical parts
• Ability to understand technical contents, development risks and potential cause / countermeasures to plan reasonable milestones/schedule for successful development and launch
• Ability to review customer requirements, system design structure, parts design and production engineering as a whole to come up with problem solving options to jointly find optimal solution at the end
• Fluent English
