• Join the indirect procurement team to handle requirements from R&D and functional departments
• Search and develop suppliers locally and work with other team members and stakeholders to extend the supplier and costing database
• Work together with suppliers and R&D business units on innovative projects to support the development of the next generation of cars
• Act as procurement interface with stakeholders and first escalation point to handle supplier issues
• Develop local sourcing strategy and decide on strategic cost reduction projects for your baskets
• Take the lead on sourcing projects and price negotiations with suppliers
• Operate all procurement systems and ensure compliant order process
• Search and gather best practices and innovation across the industry
• Handle invoices in close collaboration with our Finance team
• Other procurement related tasks

• University degree with business or technical focus or comparable qualification
• 1+ years of purchasing experience, automobile industry experience is a plus
• Ability to collect and analyze data efficiently
• Good German and English skills, Chinese is a plus
• Affinity to technology and innovation and ability to grasp highly complex technical issues
• Strong communication, interpersonal and networking skills
• Firm experience with MS Office
• Project management and team-work skills, ability to work in an international team
• Solid negotiation skills
